So, it’s been a while when we’ve last updated you with going-on’s at Racing Driver Directory so we thought we’d run through what we’re working on and some new features coming very, very soon.
Validation of stats
One of the most sort after features on RDD has been us validating results, and this is what we have been working on as a priority. As it currently stand today, drivers will be able to validate their results by submitting any of the following proof of result:
- PDF/Document/image of results published by track or third party timing systems.
- Link to results of third party timing systems.
- Photo (which is dated) of podium, certificate or trophy.
There's lot’s coming over the next few weeks, which will make Racing Driver Directory the directory to find honest, credible and dependable results for every driver.
Every result validated by us, will then be added to your results with a badge on your profile showing you have validated results.
Two new tiers
We will be adding two new tiers, Silver and Gold. Both these tiers will include validation, primary listings, and sponsor packages that you can offer, to name but a few.
Gold and Silver tiers will be paid tiers, whilst bronze (the tier we currently have) will remain free forever.
New cards and profiles
Adding tiers will change the way the cards look on the driver pages. They will be changing in design and also the amount of information they show.
The profiles will be changing massively to include new information if you choose the upper tiers. More photos, a new videos section, and an introduction paragraph are just some of the things we’re adding.
